Political Prisoner Begins Hunger Strike

HAVANA TIMES, Feb. 2 – Cuban political prisoner Diosdado González began a hunger strike in solidarity with his wife Blanca García, who began a fast last January 28 to demand that the government comply with its commitment to release the 11 dissidents who remain in prison from the group of 75, reported IPS citing the Miami-based El Nuevo Herald.
