Second Silver for Cuba in Wrestling World Cup

HAVANA TIMES – The Cuban freestyler Tuesday Reineris Salas reached the silver medal in the 84 kg division, after losing to the Ukrainian champions Ibragim Aldatov in the World Cup final taking place in Budapest, Hungary, JIT Online reported.

Meanwhile, Alejandro Valdes (60), Pan American champ at Maracaibo 2009 and Monterrey 2010, succumbed to the Korean Sung Chul Lee and finished on 23rd.

So far, the Cuban wrestling team accumulates two silver medals, the other coming from  Livan Lopez (66) who was defeated Monday in the final by the Armenian David Safaryan.

Today  Cuba’s Yunieski White, competes in the 74 kilo category.
