Tremor Felt In Santiago de Cuba

HAVANA TIMES — An earthquake registering a magnitude of 3.6 on the Richter scale was felt at noon on Monday across the entire eastern province of Santiago de Cuba and part of the neighboring province of Guantanamo, reported Cuban national television news.

The quake occurred at 12:59 with its epicenter located at coordinates 19.67 degrees north latitude and 75.73 west longitude at a depth of about 10 kilometers, according to the report.

This is the fifth earthquake felt so far this year on the island, and like the previous cases, there were no reports of human injuries or property damage.
