Tropical Storm Possible in Caribbean

HAVANA TIMES, June 23 — A tropical wave passing through the central Caribbean could become a tropical storm in the next 48 hours and cause heavy rain in Haiti, Jamaica and Cuba’s eastern region, affirmed the U.S. National Hurricane Center.  The disturbance is moving west at 16 kilometers per hour, reported IPS.
