HAVANA TIMES, March 19 — The US Treasury Department has just denied a permit to Professor Alan S. Hoffman to participate in the 3rd International Course on Biomaterials, which began this past Friday at the Colegio San Geronimo in Havana.

A protest was issued on Sunday by the Cuban Foreign Ministry on its website.
