HAVANA TIMES, April 1 – Venezuela incinerated more than 566 tons of Cuban medicines that had been imported by the South American country without taking into account the needs of its healthcare system or the expiration date, Venezuela’ Comptroller’s Office said in a report handed over to the National Assembly. The island maintains a strong presence in that nation’s healthcare centers as part of the alliance between Caracas and Havana, reported IPS.
