HAVANA TIMES — Spain’s Verbum publishing company will soon present two titles by Cuban writers living on the island — Lina de Feria and Josefina de Diego — at the Center for Modern Art in Madrid, reported Cubaencuentro.

Poemas escogidos. En la oquedad del tiempo, by Lina de Feria, is the first publication in Spain by the author. Its launching will be attended by the poet, who is visiting the country, as well as by writer and literary critic Yoandy Cabrera and Luis Rafael, the editor Verbum.

Meanwhile, Josefina de Diego, the daughter of the great Cuban poet Eliseo Diego, will present El reino del abuelo, which was published previously in Mexico (1993) and in Colombia (2007). This launching will also be attended by the author, and accompanied by Pius E. Serrano, the director of the Madrid publishing house.

According to the news note, the catalog of Verbum Publishing, founded in 1990, has almost a thousand titles, with the company specializing in Hispanic literature, literary studies and the humanities.
