Young Cuban Pitcher Osmani Tamayo Dies

HAVANA TIMES — The outstanding Cuban pitcher Osmani Tamayo Mulen died on Sunday in Santiago de Cuba, the victim of a heart attack, reported the national press.

Tamayo Mulen was considered one of the stars of the Santiago de Cuba team, with which he played during the last seven national series. In those, Santiago accumulated a balance of 25 victories and 20 defeats.

The athlete, who was only 30 years old, was found by his dead relatives in his bed. He will be buried this morning.
