Young Cubans Begin “Thinking Cuba” Encounter

HAVANA TIMES, March 9 – The Third Meeting of Young Critique and Research “Thinking Cuba” is being held today and tomorrow in the capital at the Pabellón Cuba facility sponsored by the Association Hermanos Saiz (AHS).

The event will discuss the research results of projects of AHS, which brings together young Cuban artists and researchers up to 35 years old, covering topics such as gender, young audiovisuals, theater and editorial policies.

The program includes a presentation by the renowned sociologist Aurelio Alonso on the challenges of today’s Cuba, as well as the presentation of the Number 37 issue of Criterios  magazine by the essayist and translator Desiderio Navarro.
