HAVANA TIMES – This week we have dedicated our drawings to political prisoners, those who suffer exemplary unjust sentences, especially after the July 11 protests. Some cases involve minors, which violates agreements with Unicef.
Once again, the government’s partiality in political cases is revealed. On more than one occasion, the harsh sentences issued by the Prosecutor’s Office are totally absurd. At the same time, there are no open cases on the abuse of power by members of the repressive forces.
We hope that with the call for the November 15th protest, the procedures to intimidate those who make use of their constitutional right to demonstrate will not be repeated.
