Cuba Remains Unbeaten in Latin America Volleyball Cup

HAVANA TIMES, April 3 — The Cuban women’s volleyball team won the Copa Latina on Monday in Lima, Peru, against the host team, reported the Prensa Latina news agency.

The Cuban squad won all three sets and remained ahead throughout the play, though the scores of 25-20, 25-22 and 25-20 reflect how aggressively the game was fought.

In the first two matches of the tournament, the Cuban team emerged victorious when it also shut out the teams from the Dominican Republic and Chile.
