Roaming America Photo Exhibition

HAVANA TIMES, January 9 – On Friday, January 15, will be inaugurated the photographic exhibition “Andar por America,” with works by Mexican artist Carlos Ugalde. The exhibition will be held in the Jose Marti Museum (Leonor Perez and Belgium Ave., Old Havana) at 3:00 p.m.

This will mark the 157th anniversary of the birth of Cuba’s national hero, Jose Marti.  The museum, in Marti’s birthplace home, has assembled photographic samples of the work of Mexican artist Carlos Ugalde. These are not limited to showing the exuberant landscapes of the American countryside, but also the poverty that still must be combated.
