Women on Posters Exhibition

HAVANA TIMES, January 9 – TheRuben Martinez Villena Public Library (Independence and 20 de mayo, in the Cerro neighborhood), will be the opening of the exhibition “Mujeres” (posters featuring women), under the guardianship of designer Pepe Menendez on Thursday January 14.

Posters in Cuba have always been identified by the faces of women. An example of that could be the poster for the film “Lucía,” which has traveled the entire world. So who could be better at organizing this exhibit than Pepe Menendez, an outstanding designer with the Casa de las Americas.
