“We still don’t have a definite position on whether to attend,” said the president. He considers the US’s denial of a place for Cuba at the April 14-15 meeting to be “unacceptable” and has described that stance as “discriminatory and undemocratic.”
“We are in close consultation not only as the ALBA member countries, but also with other countries, other presidents and other governments in the Americas,” he said.
