HAVANA TIMES, Jan 31 — The Puerto Rican duo Calle 13 is currently filming a documentary in Havana about their experiences on the island, reported the Prensa Latina news agency.

Lead singer Rene Perez announced via Twitter that this “great documentary” is being directed by his compatriot Lidy Paoli Lopez, and that they had come to the island by boat for the filming.

“It was a great experience, a little bit dangerous but nice at the same time,” said the singer.

Having recently arrived in New York, Perez publicized pictures of his recent stay in Havana, where he attended a concert by Cuban singer Silvio Rodriguez at the Museum of Fine Arts in the Cuban capital.
