Chavez to Speak at Cuba’s July 26 Event

HAVANA TIMES, July 24 — Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez will be one of the speakers at the official commemoration this Monday of a new anniversary of the attack on the Moncada Barracks, commemorated in Cuba as Day of National Rebellion on July 26.

The announcement was made by Chavez himself, who added that that same day he will meet with former President Fidel Castro, who during the last two weeks has shown signs of his recovery with numerous visits to several Havana institutions, reported IPS.
