HAVANA TIMES, March 1 – Venezuela President Hugo Chavez spoke yesterday with members of his cabinet. He is presently in Havana recovering from a surgery performed on Monday, reported the Prensa Latina news agency.
The president spoke with Executive Vice President Elias Jaua, Industries Minister Ricardo Menendez, Ground Transportation Minister Juan de Jesus Garcia Toussaintt and Minister of Public Works Toussaintt Garcia.
The Venezuelan head of Science and Technology, Jorge Arreaza, who is accompanying the president during his stay in Cuba, has kept the population informed via Twitter of some of the activities carried out by Chavez.
