Cuba and China Agree to Enhance Trade

HAVANA TIMES – The Chamber of Commerce of Cuba signed on Saturday in the Chinese city of Changsha several agreements with the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, reported Prensa Latina.

The agreements are intended to “strengthen cooperation, facilitate the exchange of business delegations and information on exhibitions and events of mutual interest”, and make known to Chinese companies the investment opportunities on the island.

The signing took place during the sessions of the China-Latin America and Caribbean Business Summit, which was held Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with participation of over 800 delegates from 38 Latin American and Caribbean.
