HAVANA TIMES, March 13 — Holguin pitchers Raimar Navarro Mendoz and Pablo Millan Fernandez Rojas made it into the record books on Tuesday throwing a combined no-run, no-hit game against Camaguey.

Raimar took his team through nine innings before giving way to Fernandez for the tenth and final inning. He did have control problems, walking seven while striking out eight.

Luis Raul Dominguez crossed the plate for the game’s only run in the top of the tenth thanks to an error by the Camaguey third baseman Marino Luis Marquez.

Camaguey starter Frank Madan Montejo pitched all ten innings for his team but took the loss. He allowed only three hits and no earned runs, while walking four batters.
