Cuba Calls off Cycling Competition

HAVANA TIMES, Jan. 8 – The Cuban Cycling Federation decided to call off the Cycling Tour of Cuba this year as part of the “necessary reorganization in the plan of national and international competitions,” announced by the island’s sports authorities, according to the government’s cuts in spending, José Peláez, president of that entity, announced, reported IPS.
