HAVANA TIMES, Dec 16 — Tourism, oil, mining and energy are priority sectors in the development of foreign investment in Cuba, reported the weekly magazine Opciones yesterday.

Business opportunities in the tourism sector will include projects in hotel and real estate development investments related to golf courses.

Meanwhile, the oil industry will include contracts for exploration in Cuba’s exclusive economic zone in the Gulf of Mexico, onshore and in shallow water with the Union Cubapetroleo company and with joint ventures.

The country will also enhance the export of health services and goods such as seafood as well as medical, pharmaceutical and biotechnology products.
