Cuba over Japan in Champions Cup

HAVANA TIMES, Nov. 22 – Cuba got another win in the Men’s World Grand Champions Volleyball Cup on Sunday defeating previously undefeated Japan in straight sets (25-19, 25-20, 25-22) in Nagoya, Japan.

In Sunday’s other matches Brazil remained on top of the tournament by disposing of Egypt in straight sets and Poland needed four sets to defeat Iran.

Monday is the final day of the round-robin play and Brazil (4-0) faces Japan (3-1), Poland (1-3) plays Egypt (0-4) and Cuba (3-1) meets Iran (1-3).
