HAVANA TIMES — Cuba’s government expressed over the weekend its willingness to work with the current US administration advance towards normalized bilateral relations, said an official from the island’s Foreign Ministry.
The director of the US department of the Cuban Foreign Ministry, Josefina Vidal, said American authorities can always count on the willingness of the people of Cuba and their government.
“It’s regrettable that US President Barack Obama continues to be ill-advised and misinformed about Cuban life and the feelings of his own people, who want the normalization of relations with our country,” said the official.
