Cuba Represented at Panamanian Trade Fair

HAVANA TIMES, March 22 — Opening its a pavilion at Panama’s Expocomer trade fair yesterday, Cuba presented 26 companies interested in featuring their products for export.

At what is considered the most important annual commercial showcase in Central America, the Cuban stand proved to be one of the most popular on its first day of operation, according to statements by Marel Orta Perez, the director of the island’s Chamber of Commerce

Perez, who is also president of the business delegation, referred to how the existing potential of the island has not been sufficiently exploited in terms of trade and investment cooperation with the countries of Central America, according to the Prensa Latina news agency.

The fair will extend through Saturday, March 24.
