HAVANA TIMES — A large Cuban delegation will attend the 33rd edition of the FITUR International Tourism Fair, scheduled for January 30 to February 3 in Madrid, reads a statement from the Cuban Ministry of Tourism.
According to The Prensa Latina news agency, the fair will be attended by more than 50 representatives of island hotel chains, international companies and travel agencies, along with Cubana Airlines and other tourism-related agencies.
Cuba’s Varadero beach resort will be the focus of attention of most of the exhibitors, since from May 7 to 10 it will host the 33th International Tourism Fair of Cuba.
The representatives from the island will also be promoting the International Eco-Tourism Conference, set for April; and the International Underwater Photography Championship, scheduled for September.
