US Foundation to Donate Books to Cuban Institutions

HAVANA TIMES — The US Foundation Ella Fontanals-Cisneros (CIFO) plans to donate copies of the book Pulso de la abstraccion en Latinoamerica ??to Cuban cultural institutions in the capital, reported the Prensa Latina news agency.

According to Esperanza Maynulet, who is with the National Museum of Fine Arts of Cuba, the publication will be delivered to libraries and facilities related to national art to mark the centenary of the most important art museum on the island.

Created with the aim of promoting cultural exchanges and encouraging contemporary art in Latin America, CIFO also participated in the 11th Biennial of Havana with a selection of contemporary works from its collection.
