Cuba-Venezuela Prepare ALBA Summit

HAVANA TIMES, March 26 — The Bolivarian Alliance for the Americas (ALBA) will hold a summit on April 19 in Caracas, Venezuela.  The announcement came on Thursday from Venezuelan Foreign Minister Nicolás Maduro when he spoke to the press after a meeting with Cuban Vice President Ricardo Cabrisas to discuss bilateral cooperation and projects in support of Haiti, reported IPS.

The eight ALBA member countries are Venezuela, Cuba, Bolivia, Nicaragua, Dominica, Antigua and Barbuda, St. Vincents and the Grenadines and Ecuador.
