Cuba Watch: TS Gaston follows Earl & Fiona

HAVANA TIMES, Sept. 1 — Tropical Storm Gaston is the latest in a series of back-to-back storms to form in the Atlantic.  It follows Danielle, the major Hurricane Earl that currently threatens the United States mid-Atlantic seaboard, and TS Fiona, which is considerably weaker and on a northerly path towards Bermuda.

Neither Danielle, Earl or Fiona posed threats to Cuba but it is too early to tell if Tropical Storm Gaston will follow its predecessors on a path northwest or north of Puerto Rico that would take it far from Cuba.
