HAVANA TIMES — The Cuban project “Wagner’s Circle of Friends” was presented last week in Munich, Germany, with the aim of establishing such an institution in Havana this coming November, reported the Prensa Latina news agency.
The performance in that European city was attended the ambassador of Cuba, Raul Becerra Egaña, as well as by the president of the Richard Wagner Association in Munich, Karl Russwurn, who expressed his thanks for the opportunity to create this institution on the island.
According to a news note from the embassy, ??the inauguration will take place with the staging of the opera “The Flying Dutchman,” performed by the Conjunto Lirico Nacional de Cuba.
