Cuba’s Trade with Canada Up 15%

HAVANA TIMES, Nov. 14 – Commercial exchange between Cuba and Canada registered a 15 per cent growth in the first nine months of 2009, announced Canadian Minister of State for the Americas Peter Kent during a meeting with Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister Dagoberto Rodríguez, reported IPS.

Canada is the island’s fourth trade partner behind Venezuela, China and Spain.  It is also the country from which the most tourists visit Cuba.
