HAVANA TIMES, Dec 30 — Cuban owners of insured cars have expressed dissatisfaction with the low levels of indemnities, delays in the delivery of replacement cars and the policy of denying the replacement of stolen cars.
In a letter sent to the Granma newspaper, the director of the national insurance company (Seguros Nacionales) made public the complaints of its users and challenges of its business.
“There have been delays caused by not having the number of vehicles available in the country for these purposes within the required time,” explained the executive.
However, he added that the company guarantees its customers that it will meet all of its commitments and that they are working to shorten delivery times.
