HAVANA TIMES — Argentinian singer, scriptwriter and filmmaker Fito Paez announced to the press in Havana that he is currently working on a new movie and will soon be releasing a novel, reported the Prensa Latina news agency.
Paez, who was invited to the 34th edition of the Festival of New Latin American Cinema in Havana, said his novel El ultimo vuelo de la pena will be hitting bookstores on December 17, while his upcoming film will be titled “Novela.”
The artist took part in a special moment during the official opening of the Havana festival when he took to the stage on Tuesday at the Karl Marx Theater to sing along with the popular Cuban band Los Van Van, in addition to presenting his DVD El amor despues del amor: Veinte años.
