HAVANA TIMES – The main Terminal 3 of the Jose Marti International Airport in Havana, is receiving a major facelift valued at just over 10 million USD.
According to Trabajadores weekly, the renovation work began last month, and consists of installing updated technological equipment, the expansion of ticket counters and baggage checking, placing false ceilings and lower consumption light fixtures, the addition of a new audio and air conditioning systems and renovated bathrooms and water saving technology.
If work goes as scheduled , the restoration will be completed by the end of December.
