Havana Shuts Out Industriales to 54,000

HAVANA TIMES, March 13 — Havana Province came to life on Saturday on the road defeating Industriales 4-0 in the Latinoamericano Stadium packed with 54,746 fans.  Yadier Pedroso pitched eight innings of seven-hit baseball and Yonder Martinez finished off the job with a perfect ninth.

Only one of the four Havana Province runs was earned as Industriales committed three costly errors, two by centerfielder Carlos Tabares.

Ernesto Molinet had a solo homer and scored two runs for Havana Province.

Arley Sanchez took the loss going six innings and allowing five hits.

The series is now 2-1 Industriales and game four of the Western Division finals takes place once again in the capital on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Villa Clara (2-0) hosts Ciego de Avila (0-2) in game three of the best-of-seven Eastern Division series.
