Hugo Chavez to Brazil, Ecuador & Cuba

HAVANA TIMES, May 9 — Venezuelan President is due in Cuba on Thursday the final leg of a three-nation trip starting today in Brazil and then Ecuador. The South American oil producer is Cuba’s leading trade partner and political ally.

Chavez announced his trip south at the handing over the keys ceremony of 432 apartment units to their new owners on Sunday in the Venezuelan state of Miranda, reported cubadebate.cu.

Promoting regional integration is a key point on the agenda of Chavez’ tour, notes the Cuban website.
