Orientales Win Cuba All-Star Game 15-13

HAVANA TIMES, Feb. 7 — Cuba’s annual baseball all-star game proved disastrous for pitchers and a field day for hitters, a reflection of the regular season in which batting has stood out over pitching.  The game was tied 8-8 after nine innings and in the tenth the Orientales scored seven times only to struggle to contend Occidentales who scored five before taking the loss.

Play resumes in the Cuban Baseball League with a full schedule of games on Tuesday.
