HAVANA TIMES — Cuban President Raul Castro returned to Havana on Sunday at noon after attending Friday the inauguration of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, reported Granma daily.
During his stay in the South American nation, Cuba’s leading political and economic ally, Castro also attended a military parade where he recognized Maduro as Commander of Venezuela’s armed forces.
Castro also met with several of the attending presidents from Latin America.
