US Questions Catholic Church Role in Cuba

HAVANA TIMES, Jan. 24 — The Cuban Catholic Church will not challenge the island’s government in order to maintain its spaces for cult, be able to renovate its installations and increase the number of nuns and priests, according to the conclusions of Michael Parmly and Jonathan Farrar, the two heads of the U.S. Interests Section in this capital, revealed by WikiLeaks, reported IPS.
