Weather in Havana, Sept. 12-18: Hurricane Humberto No Threat to Cuba

HAVANA TIMES – Generally good weather with partly cloudy days and afternoon showers.

The High temperatures will peak at 32 ° C (90 F) and the lows will be around 24 ° C (75 F).
The winds will be weak from the east.

The low pressure area moving from the west to the Yucatan Peninsula could become a tropical storm in the next 48 hours. But its movement does not represent any danger for Cuba.

Hurricane Humberto is located about 550 km (296 miles) northwest of Cape Verde and will continue to move north-northwest in the coming days. The future path of the system does not pose as danger to Cuba.

In the remaining area of the Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean cyclone development is not expected for the next 48 hrs.

The sea surface temperature will reach 29 ° C (84 F).
