A slight increase in temperatures
Eduardo A. Fernandez Diaz
HAVANA TIMES — The area is under the influence of a continental high pressure system, which will remain for most of the forecasted period. In addition, there’s the presence of a stationary front over the Gulf of Mexico, which will dissipate in the coming hours.
There is no high probability of rain for the capital city area, except for some isolated showers in the afternoon and the evening, with these caused by daytime heating.
Winds will be from the northeast with speeds of less than 28 km/h (17 mph), though these may be higher in areas along the north coast.
All of this will produce a gradual rise in temperature, with the maximum values ranging from 27°C (81°F) to 30°C (86 F), and the minimum ones falling to around 22°C (72°F).
The sea surface temperature will be approximately 27°C (81°F).
