Havana Theatre Festival Opens

From Oct. 25 to Nov. 3

HAVANA TIMES — Starting today, and over the next nine days the 15th Havana Theatre Festival takes place at venues around the Cuban capital.

This year the public can enjoy theatrical performances from Germany, Denmark, Spain, Poland, Finland, France, Italy, Russia, Switzerland, China, Venezuela, Brazil, Argentina , Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Uruguay and Cuba, at 19 theaters  as well as at numerous parks and squares.

The official opening takes place tonight at 8:30 pm in the Sala Avellaneda of the National Theatre of Cuba with the immortal version of Anna Karenina, by the Evgueni Vajtangov State Academic Theater of Russia.
