Cuba Faces Bulgaria in Volleyball Championship

HAVANA TIMES, Oct. 6 — Cuba has a must win match against Bulgaria on Wednesday evening if it wants to make it to the final four of the World Volleyball League Championship taking place in Italy.  The islanders defeated Spain three sets to one on Tuesday (25-22, 15-25, 25-22, 25-22).

Cuba is playing round three in group Q along with Bulgaria and Spain.  The winner of tonight’s match makes the final four while the loser will play in the fifth to eighth place group.  Spain fell to the ninth to tweleve place category.
