Cuba to Host Pan American Women’s Cup ‘U-20’ Volleyball Tournament

HAVANA TIMES — Cuba will host the second youth (for players under 20 years of age) Pan American Women’s Volleyball tournament from March 18 to 23 at the capital’s “Sports City” complex. The competition will be attended by teams from eight countries, reported JIT Online.

The contest will be divided into two groups, with the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Peru and Colombia making up Group A, while Chile, Costa Rica, Cuba and Guatemala or Nicaragua will form Group B.

The competition will offer one ticket to the World Championship in the Czech Republic from June 7 to 16, among the teams that are not already qualified.
