Cuban Trio Provide the Action in Cubs-White Sox Clash

HAVANA TIMES — In the game last Sunday between the Chicago Cubs and White Sox, three of the four runs scored in the 3-1 White Sox victory, came on solo homers from three different Cuban players, Jorge Soler, Jose Dariel Abreu and Alexei Ramírez.

Abreu started with his long ball in the third inning followed by Alexei Ramírez in the fourth, putting the White Sox ahead to stay. Jorge Soler managed the Cubs lone run in the ninth with his solo shot.

The homers were number 22 for Abreu, 8 for Ramírez and 6 for Soler.
