Judo Tournaments Begin Tomorrow In Cuba

HAVANA TIMES, April 2 — The “Golden Judoguis” women’s judo tournament and the “Jose Ramon Rodriguez Memorial” men’s tournament will be held in the Cuban capital from April 3 to 6, reported the Prensa Latina news agency.

Judokas from Cuba, the United States, Costa Rica, Venezuela and Brazil will participate in the event at the Kid Chocolate Athletic Center, where the guests will compete with the main figures from the island including the 10 who seek to qualify  move for the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

After these bouts, members of the Cuban team will participate in the Pan American Championships from April 26 to 29 in Montreal, Canada.
