Venez.-Cuba-Colombia Head Bike Race

HAVANA TIMES, Feb. 10 — The 13-stage Vuelta a Cuba cycling competition began on Tuesday and Miguel Ubeto of Venezuela topped the clock with a 3:43.50 time for the 153 kilometer trek from Baracoa to Guantanamo.

Four seconds behind was Team Cuba’s Raul Granjel followed by Damier Martinez (Team Guantanamo) at six seconds from the leader.

In the overall team ranking there was a three-way-tie for first with Venezuela, Colombia and Cuba all coming in at 11:11.30 hours.
