Church Thanks Government for Support

HAVANA TIMES, Nov. 4 — Cardinal Jaime Ortega thanked the Cuban government for its backing in the construction of the new San Carlos y San Ambrosio Seminary, built on the outskirts of the Cuban capital and inaugurated yesterday. The Catholic Church and the Cuban State have improved their relations in recent years, after the visit by Pope John Paul II in 1998.
