‘Cuba Aqui’ Project Presented in Germany

HAVANA TIMES — The cultural project “Cuba Aqui” opened in the exhibition hall of the Cervantes Institute in the German city of Bremen, announced the Cuba Embassy in that European country today.

According to the statement, the project presents a group show by young artists from the province of Santiago de Cuba, thus initiating a cultural exchange between that eastern Cuban city and Bremen.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Bremen senator of Education, Eva Quante-Brandt; artist and project creator Thilman Rothelmen, as well as other Cuban artists and officials.

For International Women’s Day, a photography exhibition will open featuring the work of Santiagan artist Waldo Gutierrez Regüeiferos. In addition, Commissioner Maricel Naples will lecture on Cuban art, reported Prensa Latina.
