Cuba Customs Publishes List of Agencies Authorized for Package Services to the Island

HAVANA TIMES — The Cuban customs service published today a list of the foreign package delivery agencies operating legally under contract with Cuban operators, authorized to perform these operations, reported Cubadebate.

According to the brief note, Customs has detected cases of entities located in different countries offering to provide these services in Cuba without being duly authorized, leading to recipients not receiving the items sent.

The following is the official list of agencies authorized in Cuba and the foreign entities authorized to do business with them:

1.Empresa de Mensajería y Cambio Internacional (EMCI): It operates with the following package delivery agencies in their respective countries:

Ecuador: Bordoy Courier
Panama: Apacargo; Cugranca; IBT y All Consume
United States: Cugranca
Peru: All Consume
Spain: Cugranca; IB SA y Cubaenvío

2. Agencia Courier Cubanacan Express: This firm maintains operations under contracts with the following agencies corresponding to the following countries.

Spain: Eurocuba; Comercial Bilbohabana; Logística Guaso
Costa Rica: MHN Cargo Express
Panama: Apacargo Express SA; Rumbos Express INC
Canada: Treew INC
Guatemala: Compañía Comercial Fermingua S.A
Italy: Globoestar; Angulo Cubano Service SRL
Ecuador: Envíos y Paquetes Rodríguez Rodríguez; Compañía Romero Tranfer y Courier S.A

3. Agencia de Paquetería CubaPacks International: This is the only agency authorized to carry out imports direct from the United States, as well as from Puerto Rico and Panama. It operates via the following package delivery services:
