Cuban Pianist Harold López-Nussa Performs in Tokyo

The Harold Lopez-Nussa Trio

HAVANA TIMES – The renowned Cuban jazz musician Harold López-Nussa played with his trio on July 18 to 20 at the Cotton Club in Tokyo, said sources at the Cuban embassy in the Japanese capital.

This is the first time that the trio performed in Tokyo and the Japanese public offered much applause after each piece. The Cotton Club is one of the most important venues of jazz and world music in Japan.

Harold, accompanied by his brother Ruy Adrian Lopez-Nussa on drums and Jorge Sawa on bass, began their current concert tour in Japan and will now continue in Europe.
